- Event Overview:
1.1. The Pune City Marathon is a running event. Conceptualised by The Poona Club Ltd. and Organised and Executed by Dorabjee Charitable Trust.
1.2. The Event is scheduled for 3rd March 2024 at The Poona Club Ltd, 6 Bund Garden, Road, Pune, Maharashtra, India. - Participant Registration:
2.1. Participation in the Event is open to individuals of all ages, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and registration requirements set by the Organizer.
2.2. Participants must register for the Event online through the official Event website or designated registration platforms. - Participant Responsibilities:
3.1. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good physical condition and have received appropriate medical clearance to participate in the Event.
3.2. Participants must provide accurate information during registration and keep their registration details up to date.
3.3. Participants must follow the Event rules, including adhering to the specified route and timelines. - Event Rules and Regulations:
4.1. Participants must obey all instructions and decisions of Event officials, volunteers, and law enforcement personnel.
4.2. Participants must wear their assigned bib numbers visible on the front of their clothing during the Event.
4.3. Participants must not litter and should dispose of trash in designated areas. - Liability Waiver:
5.1. By participating in the Event, participants acknowledge and accept that running events involve inherent risks, and they voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
5.2. Participants release the Organizer, its sponsors, partners, and all related personnel from any liability, claims, or damages arising from their participation in the Event. - Event Cancellation or Postponement:
6.1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Event due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, or government directives.
6.2. In the event of cancellation, participants may be offered alternative options, such as deferral to a future Event or a partial refund, at the discretion of the Organizer. - Privacy and Data Usage:
7.1. The Organizer may collect and use participant data for event-related communication and marketing purposes. Participants can opt out of such communication at any time. - Miscellaneous:
8.1. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between participants and the Organizer regarding the Event.
